Description

So here is how it goes.....  these photons had been travelling around 4700 years across the galaxy, so I felt compelled to let them  rest almost two full years in my hard drive as tiny magnetized particles.... I wish I had been able to fnish the processing I started 15 months ago.... NOw I was wondering if redoing it with the new wonders (such as blur exterminator...) but I decided to move on and wrap up for once the image, and give that possibility a later chancre...

Shot at the same time as this other crescent (https://www.astrobin.com/jr3bs9/)  thanks to the wonders a of dual rig setup.

I wanted to move away a bit from the classical HOO look, so I processed it with the typical HOO but shifted the hues a bit... I processed it without stars, and then added RGB stars (without the shifted hue).

It is interesting the kind of challenge that the dual rig at different focal lenghts impose when processing as you dont feel like processing both focal lengths the same way which challenges creativity or at least trying to look at things differently.

Sort of happy with the result ( I like the assortment of objects and dust/gas across the image) But still I dont think that I would "crown" my bed with it. :-)

CS, Guillermo.
